About

"Why am I a lawyer? I joke and tell people it's probably too much Law & Order as a child, but that's really what it is – I always wanted to be an attorney, and here I am." — Korri D. Bryant

Korri D. Bryant is a commercial and probate litigator who brings an aggressive, strategic approach to complex business and probate disputes. With nearly a decade of litigation experience, Korri represents businesses, executives, trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in high stakes matters involving employment disputes, restrictive covenants, shareholder conflicts, and estate and will contests.

Korri's success as a litigator stems from her commitment to keeping client interests first, her genuine passion for practicing law, and her thoroughness in case preparation. "I don't underestimate my opponent," she notes – a mindset that ensures her clients receive comprehensive, strategic representation at every stage of litigation.

Korri has dual expertise in commercial litigation and fiduciary matters, making her particularly effective in probate and trust disputes involving business interests. She handles the full spectrum of fiduciary disputes, including will and trust contests; breach of fiduciary duty claims; and capacity, undue influence, and fraud disputes – matters that require both nuanced understanding of probate law and the aggressive litigation skills she brings from her commercial practice.

Korri’s clients value her scrappy, no-nonsense style and her ability to take control in the courtroom. As one client shared after watching her courtroom performance, “It was clear you know the record and the law, and you made strong, strategic points."

Korri’s experience as a business litigator is complemented by her time serving as general counsel for a healthcare services business, where she provided strategic guidance on contracts, ERISA compliance, litigation, and risk management. This in-house experience gives her valuable insight into the business pressures and practical constraints that shape litigation and legal decisions.

When not in the courtroom, Korri enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter at their 1920s Craftsman home in the Heights. The family can often be found tending to their yard, biking around the neighborhood, exploring Houston's parks and zoo, or cheering on the Astros and her beloved Texas A&M Aggies.
