Taylor M. Wood

Taylor M. Wood brings 10 years of legal and administrative experience to her role as litigation paralegal at Hendershot Cowart P.C., where she supports a team of attorneys with our litigation practice.

Taylor's responsibilities include calendaring deadlines, scheduling client meetings, conducting legal research, e-filing and e-service, and handling day-to-day case management. Her background spanscivil litigation, complex business disputes, and regulatory matters, with experience managing heavy caseloads from onboarding to resolution.

"My mom was a paralegal for many years when I was a child. She loved her job," Taylor explains, “and following in her footsteps felt natural.”

What Taylor values most about Hendershot Cowart is the remarkable variety of cases – from cryptocurrency fraud and probate issues to contract disputes and shareholder conflicts. "No case is ever the same and there is always something else to learn. It is fast-paced work and never boring."

Taylor is originally from Dallas and now resides in Houston’s Upper Kirby District. When not working, she enjoys reading, playing video games, spending time with her mom in Sugar Land, trying new restaurants with friends, and traveling. She holds an associate's degree from Houston Community College.
