Lauren Koch joined Hendershot Cowart P.C. in May 2026, bringing more than seven years of legal industry experience to her role supporting the firm's billing department, lead intake process, and healthcare and litigation attorneys.
Lauren's background spans a range of legal settings and responsibilities, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how law firms operate. She has worked as a paralegal, intake specialist, and case manager, managing complex litigation cases, coordinating with experts, handling attorney billing, monitoring court deadlines, and ensuring a smooth progression from case intake through resolution.
"I love to help, and I see law as a way to assist people through tough times in their lives," Lauren explains. This commitment to service drew her to the legal industry and continues to drive her work at Hendershot Cowart. She particularly values the firm's focus on health law and the opportunity to work with healthcare professionals navigating complex legal matters.
Lauren’s ability to manage multiple functions – from billing and client intake to legal assistant – makes her a valuable resource across the firm.
Lauren has been married for five years and is the proud mother of two sons. When she is not working, her hobbies center around being a mom, volunteering with outreach work through her church, and watching crime shows and documentaries.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Victim Studies from Sam Houston State University and is fluent in American Sign Language.
