• Represented a free-standing emergency clinic in litigation with a private insurance carrier over payment, prevailing at both the trial and appellate levels.
• Advised physicians and healthcare executives facing compliance exposure under HIPAA, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act, enabling clients to correct course before enforcement action was taken.

Medical & Professional License Defense

• Represented a registered nurse whose license had been revoked by default order, securing a motion for rehearing that reduced the sanction to one year of probation.
• Represented a physician in a Texas Medical Board investigation arising from a criminal assault conviction, resolving the matter with a private letter of concern that imposed no encumbrance on the provider’s license and triggered no reportable event to the National Practitioner Data Bank.

• Overturned an OSHA citation issued to a demolition company following a job site fatality on a multi-employer worksite.
• Defended 46 Texas businesses, since January 2021 alone, against OSHA citations and inspections.

Construction & Real Estate

• Defended a residential real estate builder and related entities against contract and construction defect claims in state court and arbitration.
• Successfully represented a water utility district at the trial and appellate levels in accessibility litigation under federal disability law.
