Michelle Becerra

Michelle Becerra is a Paralegal at Hendershot Cowart P.C. in Houston, Texas, bringing nearly 30 years of litigation support experience to the firm's commercial litigation practice. She assists the attorney team through every phase of litigation, from case preparation and document management to trial preparation.

She has extensive experience managing high-volume document productions and e-discovery projects, and has supported attorneys in state and federal courtrooms and Special Commissioners' Hearings throughout her career. Her familiarity with major litigation and document management platforms lets attorneys focus on strategy rather than logistics.

Michelle earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Legal Assisting from Brazosport College in Clute, Texas, and is a Notary Public in the State of Texas. The legal field has interested her from early in her career, and she joined Hendershot Cowart in June 2026 after hearing about the firm's strong reputation. What she values most about her work is the assurance that it matters within the larger justice system.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her two children and three grandchildren. An avid reader, she enjoys books across every genre.
